Owner Memories: We’ve been here for about 38 years and this was the first house we ever bought. We’ve always felt very safe in this neighborhood and are lucky to have great neighbors. We walk our dog late at night and feel perfectly safe. Creekside Park, down at the end of the street, is a wonderful park and we often walk our dog there. We've met many wonderful neighbors at the park. We often cross the footbridge over the creek and go to Wilson Park, close by. We enjoy bicycling and have many safe routes nearby (including a trail near Creekside Park) and there's a great bike shop within walking distance.

We love eating out in nice restaurants, and have enjoyed the wide variety of fine dining close at hand. We love the beautiful trees in our yard, which help shade the house in summertime (especially the mature trees). We're delighted when we occasionally hear an owl in one of our trees in the evening. The orange tree is a generous and solid producer - we share the fruit with friends and neighbors, who really appreciate how tasty they are. We have three new trees: a Mission Fig we planted a few years ago that has already produced delicious figs; a California Buckeye; and a tree the city planted in front of the house. All are doing well. We enjoy our views of the Santa Cruz mountains from the kitchen and master bedroom.
